Ravi Pokala Kiran

Ravi Pokala Kiran, MD, FACS, is the Kenneth A. Forde Professor of Surgery (in Epidemiology) and a renowned expert in colorectal disease, with significant contributions to both academic publications (more than 250) and clinical practices. Dr. Kiran is the co-director of the Global Center for Integrated Colorectal Surgery and IBD Interventional Endoscopy at NewYork-Presbyerian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Prior to that, he served as chief and program director of the Division of Colorectal Surgery for over a decade. He is also the Director of the Center for Innovation and Outcomes Research in the Department of Surgery.
